I would like to thank my Publisher John Blake and his editor-in-chief Michelle Signore not only for making it possible for me to create further awareness of Body Dysmorphic Disorder but for also enabling me to help others follow me on my journey to recovery.
When I first wrote the Synopsis of The Butterfly Girl I was feeling determined to make all that I have been through worthwhile, It started off as a dream and if it was not for Blake I would not have been able to make that dream a reality.
By showing others how to live with Mental Illness and by hopefully inspiring them through my experiences it makes all that I have been through worth while,
When I was ill I felt frustrated with myself for wasting my life away but at the time it felt like there could never be an end to my pain and suffering.
Now I have come out the other end feeling as though there was a purpose after all!.
I hope that my book will educate people on how it feels to live with Body Dysmophic Disorder and give them an insight on just how it feels to be imprisoned in your own body.
If it were not for John Blake and Michelle Signore non of this would have been possible.
